This is an old photo I took on my Pentax K20D before I sold it and everyone in my family think's it's an awesome photo. I think I did pretty well condidering this was taken on a budget Tamron 70-300mm lens. I saw this bee out on the Buhdleia in the front garden and quickly saw a photo oppertunity and got out my camera and tripod and took a series of photos out of which I later picked out this one to be the best as the bee moved around a lot.
It was been my desktop background for the last few months and has made an impact with anyone I've shown it to (24"screen helps!)
As for me I've been to Weymouth a couple of weeks ago and took a lot or photos there which I hope to post soon.
I sold my old 70-300mm IS lens (actually turned a £3 profit on it!!) and bought the new 55-250mm one instead which is nice as it's a LOT lighter, quieter and the reduction in range doesn't bother me too much. Also got a Sigma 105mm prime macro lens which I've got some awesome shots of my young nanny charges with and their parents are very impressed with and want copies. I might be able to post those on here (pending Mum & Dad's persmission)
More to come! Please leave comments!
